2010 World Enduro Championship – Greece

After the summer hiatus the World Enduro Championship (WEC) is back in session this weekend in Serres Greece. It seems the big news right now is more about who is going where next year. The announcement that Ivan Cervantes was leaving KTM to join the factory GasGas squad seemed to come as a surprise to everyone. This probably also had something to do with David Knight heading back to the Farioli KTM squad, in effect bumping Cervantes out of the number one seat on the team.
I can only imagine the riding conditions in Greece in August. During the 08 ISDE we had temps well over 100 in Parc Ferme and that was in September. Looks like the Serres weather forcast is calling for temps in the mid 90′s.
So here is a little something to get everyone back in the racing spirit. Sure seems strange to see Knight riding a Kawasai in this 2009 race clip
