Here is the Race Report from Precison Concepts:
Precision Concepts/Northland Motorsports rider Robby Bell takes first overall in the Pro race at this weekends annual running of the Elsinore Grand Prix. It was his first time running this event, but that didn’t stop the press on hand labeling him the favorite. He took control of the race from the first lap. Then after pitting on lap five, re-entered in second behind ZipTy/Husky rider Bobby Garrison. A wide open pass through the silt beds put him back in first. After that, he simply checked out. At the finish, his lead was over one minute.
Other team riders making their mark were Justin Seeds and Ty Renshaw. Justin led every lap and took the four stroke win on Saturday ahead of Ty. Then in the Sunday Pro race, Ty ran a strong third overall nearly the whole race to claim the last podium spot. Justin fought hard from a third row start to take fifth overall.
Thanks to the city of Lake Elsinore for allowing this crazy event to take place right in down town, And also to Podium Productions and Storm Entertainment for taking on the challenge of running this race. It truly brings back the memories of Malcolm Smith in On Any Sunday.
