He has won everything else, so time for Endurocross
The GEICO AMA EnduroCross series, presented by Lucas Oil will have another superstar rider on the line in Everett Washington this weekend. Graham Jarvis has won some of the most famous Extreme Enduro’s this year including; Hells Gate, The Tough One and the Red Bull Romaniacs. Looking for a new challenge, Jarvis made the trip across the pond last week to take the top spot in the second annual Xtinction Extreme Enduro in Canada. Jarvis decided to stay in North America a little longer and head down to Washington for this weekend’s EnduroCross event.
Riding a factory backed Husaberg, you can be sure that Jarvis will be a threat to mix it up with the EnduroCross regulars. He competed against Taddy Blazusiak, the two time and defending GEICO EnduroCross Champion at the Erzberg Enduro in June and actually finished first but was later disqualified for missing a checkpoint. So perhaps he is looking for a little redemption. In addition to Blazusiak, there is a long list of riders looking for a win of their own including Geoff Aaron, Justin Soule, Mike Brown, Cody Webb and a large list of top riders from the Pacific Northwest. So you can be sure that Jarvis will have to earn a spot on the podium.
If you live anywhere in the Pacific Northwest, you can make plans for an awesome day and night of action. The pit area and Comcast Arena are open for FREE all day to the public to watch the riders practice and qualify for the evening program. But if you want a seat for the main events, you better get a ticket since this event was a sellout last year.
EnduroCross tracks incorporate various elements of extreme off road racing into a supercross-style setting, including rocks, boulders, logs, sand, mud, a water-hole…and even a few special obstacles like giant tires thrown in! Known as the “toughest racing on two wheels,” this indoor off road racing will certainly keep you on your feet. Don’t miss your chance to see GEICO AMA EnduroCross “Live”. ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC will combine to telecast 25 hours of live X Games 17 competition, which will include Enduro X. For the six remaining EnduroCross events, be sure to log-on to www.motorsportshour.com for local air dates/times for the Lucas Motorsports Hour on the Versus network.
