Husaberg rider Graham Jarvis earned 5th overall at the second round of the AMA EnduroCross Series held in Everett, WA.
Jarvis travelled all the way from England to compete in the tough off-road event and it was well worth his effort. He turned the third fastest lap time in the afternoon hot laps to earn first gate pick in the third heat. At the conclusion of the six lap heat, it was Jarvis who took the win to take the third gate pick heading into the main event.
Jarvis didn’t get the start he had hoped for in the main event and he had to work his way up from the back of the pack through the front. By the half way point of the ten lap main event he had worked his way into the top five. He began to battle with FMF/KTM rider Mike Brown for 4th place with only a few laps remaining. He and Brown went back and forth for the spot before Brown edged out Jarvis for the position at the checkered flag. Jarvis went on to finish an impressive 5th place in his first U.S. EnduroCross race in three years.
“I really enjoyed coming over here to race this event. I love the challenge that EnduroCross brings to racing and I was happy to perform well tonight. I felt comfortable on the track early in the day and was able to turn a good lap time and take my heat win. I wish my start would have been a bit better in the main event but I had fun battling with Brown and am happy to finish inside the top five,” remarked Jarvis.
