I have to say that is was pretty cool to get invited to interview KTM’s latest convert, Ryan Dungey. This years outdoor motocross series was one for the ages. The level of talent and competition between the two Ryans and Reed was always entertaining.
Watching Dungey standing at the line, with no motorcycle, as the gate dropped on the second Southwick moto was amazing. In a situation where he could have easily walked away dejected, he put his head down and turned in one of the more stunning rides in current memory. To leave the line over half a lap down and charge back into a strong points paying finish was an outstanding show of determination.
After watching all the other moto journalists ask the standard questions about the bike, Decoster, KTM, Suzuki, Gosselar etc, I decided to try a slightly different approach. So here we go:
