2012 off road season kicks off with the Best In The Desert Parker 250 Saturday morning. JCR Honda teammates David Kamo and Colton Udall are all ready for tomorrow’s race. It looks like they will be going up against the THR Kawasaki of David Pearson and Robby Bell.
David Pearson is the current title holder for the series. He and Robby Bell battled against each other at the final race of the season, going wheel to wheel. Now they are paired as teammates on the Kawasaki KX450 and should prove a formidable duo for all comers.
David Kamo gets the honor of rider of record for the JCR effort in this series. He says he has been very happy with the bike testing they have done so far and is excited to get racing. Of course he and Pearson were previously teamed on the series winning KTM a few years ago. While Colton is starting with Kamo, it is expected that Quinn Cody will might also ride some of the rounds. We hope to see Quinn healed from his Dakar scars quickly. With 10 stitches in his face, I guess he will get to tell us if chicks really do dig scars.
We wish everyone a safe race for tomorrow and hope it kicks of the 2012 season with a bang.
