| Ramirez Earns 2nd in Pro 2
Without question, Ivan Ramirez shined this weekend starting with the 450A class. Off the gate, Ramirez was in pursuit for Justin Jones. Throughout the race Ramirez kept his pace in 2nd place and continued to push for first. Though time ran out in the race, he was fueled for the challenge on Sunday in the Pro 2 class. “It was a great weekend for the team and I to start this season on the podium with a second place finish. Of course we wanted first place. but it was absolutely an exciting battle! By the way, this was a special weekend because of my birthday. So thank you all for the support. I am really happy.” Check out Ivan’s weekend video HERE |
| A Successful 2nd for Martinez
As the ladies of the Women’s Pro class lined up for the final race of the day Martinez stood calm and collected. The 2011 Women’s Pro Champion sat beside the likes of motocross riders Jessica Patterson, Sherri Cruse, Tatum Sik, Elizabeth Bash and others, ready to defend her title.

Martinez looked strong throughout the entire course, exuding not only her off road skills, but motorcross skills as well. Martinez came through the checkers just :29 seconds behind Patterson, and 2:02 ahead of Elizabeth Bash. “My race this weekend went really well! I feel like it was a good way to start out the year. I may have finished second but I felt really good on the bike and strong the whole hour! I feel like Glen Helen is one of the tougher tracks to ride and I felt like I handled it well. I am very excited to keep the ball rolling at the next round in Primm!” |
