The WORCS race in Lake Havasu, AZ is always a great round. It’s fun, the track gets rough and the amount of spectators is simply awesome. Kacy, Travis, Ivan, Scott, Sydney and myself ventured back down South to take on the fourth round of the series. Saturday was a great day for us all around with both Travis and Ivan qualifying in the 450 class and Kacy really summed up the day grabbing another podium in the Women’s Pro class. Next up, we’re preparing to take on the first round of the Endurocross series and the fifth round of WORCS at Speedworld. Thanks for your support, as always it couldn’t happen without it!

Ramirez & Coy Take on Havasu
Saturday in Lake HavasuIvan Ramirez kicked off the weekend with a big win in the 450A class as Travis Coy started the race with the holeshot. Both qualifying with no issues, the boys moved into Sunday and lined up for the Pro 2 race. Travis had a great start but while jumping across the large lagoon, he dismounted his bike and came crashing onto the other side. Finishing in 7th, Coy now sits 4th in points and looks to break into the top 3 after the next round.
Ramirez took the lead, but eventually his arm pump from the rough course kept him from defending first as Graffunder passed him and took the win. “It was a great weekend, I ended up in first Saturday and felt really good. On Sunday I had a great start, got the lead but then I began to feel arm pump to the end of the race. The track was so rough, I ended in second and I’m pumped to have the points lead,” stated Ramirez.
Martinez Sits on the Podium Again
After batting the Flu all week Kacy Martinez suited up and took on the race with everything she had. This round, the Pro women would race with the Pro men, for a combined showcase. Kacy started off great with the holeshot and got out front early, but Tatum Sik moved passed Kacy, turning up the heat so soon in the race. Pushing as hard as she could, Kacy battled the course and competitors for an impressive third finish.
“Being sick wasn’t in the plan. I was feeling great earlier in the week and wanted to carry it through the weekend, but it just didn’t work out that way.” Kacy went on to say. Keeping her points lead, she is now preparing for not only the next round of WORCS, but the first round Endurocross.
