Lots of desolate desert today, here near the site of “The Burning Man”

I don’t feel like I am going very fast
arriving for a night in Cedarville, right at rush hour
I got back on the road today. It still took a few hours to get the KTM bolted back together, so I was rolling around noon. The rest of my day was spent getting back on schedule so I could catch up with my riding partners.
As it turned out, I ran into a few other riders, also headed for Bend, so I hooked up with them. We had a nice ride this afternoon. What it lacked in technicality, it by far made up for in speed. I have ridden plenty of pavement that was not as smooth or fast as the gravel road we traveled.
So all is going well, we are all together and the 5 of us will travel towards Bend tomorrow. Here are a few pics of the day.
