I am not quite sure where the miles have gone, but they are adding up quick on the 350exc test bike. A typical first ride report only encompasses a limited about of testing. But at this point, our 350EXC has done just about everything a dirt bike can do: commute, dual sport, exploring, moto track and desert race. It stands at 1,100 miles of ride time and gaining every day. Few bikes could motivate me to find a reason to ride more than this baby.
When I was expecting this bike to arrive, I started thinking of the things I wanted to do to it, what kind of goodies to add. Now that I am riding it and adding up the miles, I have forgotten about most of that. It really doesn’t need a thing except a full tank of gas. Okay, maybe I will put the 13 litre tank on, just so I can go even longer without stopping.
I almost hate to make proclamations, but this one is unavoidable. This is probably the best motorcycle I have ever ridden.
That statement is completely ignoring the fact that it also has a license plate, just making it even better. For my own riding preferences, I would absolutely choose it over the 500xcw KTM that we tested earlier this year. If I had an identically prepared 450exc (that doesn’t exist in the US), it would be a very close call between the two.
This is a long term bike for Enduro360, so expect to see more follow up reports about our time with the 350. For now, check out the links and video to see my full status report.
