I don’t always take a gear bag when I go to Baja, but when I do, you can bet that it is full.
I am just about to head out the door for Ensenada for our coverage of the 2012 Baja 1000. I will be in Ensenada for a couple of days. Then on Wednesday we will drive south to El Rosario for the night. The race starts early Thursday morning. Our plan is to see the first bikes come by at a place called El Crucero, just south of Laguna Chapala.
From there we will drive the rest of the peninsula, chasing the bikes the best we can. With luck we will see them again at San Ignacio and possibly Loreto. We hope to be in La Paz when the first bikes arrive to the finish line of the 1,121 mile race.
So stay tuned as we bring you coverage of the event.
