Rodrig Thain comes to Gas Gas as the new Enduro team leader once he agreed the end of the contract with his last team. The reigning World Enduro runner-up will debut with team Gas Gas in the Super Enduro being held this weekend at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.
The Frenchman will also be in the Bassella Race which takes place on the 16th and 17th of February, a competition that will allow the continuing development of the Gas Gas EC 300 R with which he will face the coming season. His main challenges this year will be highlighted by the Enduro World Championship and the French championship, competitions that will be played-out with the Catalan brand.
Rodrig has a long history dating back to 1996, when he competed in the European Motocross Championship. In 2000 he participated in the Prince Bercy Supercross, and in 2001 in the AMA West Coast Supercross series. After a break from sports in 2006, he did the SX series in Germany. And then he was a four-time winner in second and fourth positions in the ISDE.
Rodrig Thain is the latest rider to join the competition structure that will face the 2013 World Enduro Championship, and will join Jose Luis Martinez (E2), Laia Sanz (EW), and young riders in the School of Champions, Danny McCanney (EJ), Diego “Toro” Rojas (EJ) and Esteban Lanz (EY).
