How To Look Like A Professional ________ …
I saw this and just had to share it. While it is about photography, the fascinating and practical tips can apply to many areas in life. Following this guide can make you look like a professional motocrosser without ever having to get out on the track, just cruise around the pits a few times showing this kind of style and everyone will assume that you are the one to beat.
For track days, just convert these tips to moto; loud pipe, lots of throttle twisting, a few practice starts in the pits and then race back to the truck to make a quick adjustment, as if it is vital that you get back out on the track as soon as possible.
As for photography, it is all going to hell in a hand basket. Not that I put myself out as anything special, that is not it. But I have just stepped up and bought what may be the most powerful camera on the planet. What is it? Have I jumped ship and gone over to the dark side (Canon)? Did I lay down $2,000 plus for a great 2.8 lense?
None of the above I am sad to say. I have just bought a Samsung Galaxy S5. It is not only the most powerful camera I own, it is also the most powerful computer. The same goes for the point and shoot market. Today’s kids will forget the day when there was something as archaic as a stand alone camera.
While I am poking fun at just how quickly technology is changing the nature of photography, I still have a great respect for those who really know how to use their equipment. Still more so for the talent it takes to compose great photos, the work of the true photographers.
When I figure out how to use my new camera a bit better, I am going to do a model shoot with it. It will be interesting to see the results. For now, enjoy this bit;
