Word out of the KTM dealer show is that the two stroke Freeride will be coming to the US. No details yet for price or availability yet.
If you are wondering why not the 350, I think the logic goes like this; the 350 would need to be a street legal exc model to sell well and that would put the price point to high to justify. For an offroad only model the two stroke cost will be lower while still targeting that market very well. KTM execs have been uncertain of the Freeride concept for the US. It is difficult to justify a lower spec bike for a similar price point to the xcw models. Yes they will sell, but will there be longevity in the model?
