– Synerject injection system for outstanding throttle response and perfect engine braking management
– A pressure sensor is located in the injector body to adjust the gas/air mixture to compensate for air filter contamination

-The cylinder head intake valve is 30mm to optimize the engine performance
– Redesigned camshaft for wider operating range
– Camshaft timing revised for a wider range of use at low speed and a more linear high speed power delivery

Engine:
– New more compact engine design

– Synerject injection system for outstanding throttle response and perfect engine braking management
– Engine is equipped with a dual overhead camshaft OHV
– Distribution key
– Semi PERIMETER specific steel flush welded framework that has been optimized, the wheelbase has been made 18mm longer for better stability at high speeds
– Morse / Hyvo Distribution chain for noise reduction of the mechanical moving parts
– A pressure sensor is located in the injector body to adjust the gas/air mixture to compensate for air filter contamination

2015 Sherco 450

 All Four Stroke Models

Engine:

– Selector segment teeth which permits cylindric gear shaft instead of conical shaft

– The gear selector lever has been strengthened and reinforced, it is made out of anodized alege aluminum

Chassis:

– Rear frame reinforced
– The foot rests have been reinforced with Chrome Molybdenum steel
– Swing arm needle bearing area has been reinforced

Engine:

– New timing curve developed for the Kokusan ignition system to provide more power at low speeds and greater throttle responsive
– New valve springs that increase engine response in the  low and midrange

– Lightweight electric starting system that is located low on the engine (ideal position to maintain a low center of gravity)
– The exhaust valve management system has evolved in order to provide improved calibration

– Improved exhaust valve sealing for more power at low revs
– Field Validation: optimized the valve adjustment and the ignition timing
– ALS7 Alloy Cylinder for high temperature stability and improved cylinder life expectancy
– A redesign of the three fixing plates on the crankshaft
– The cables for opening and closing the exhaust valve are adjustable
– New reinforced gear selector star drum

Chassis:

– Utilizes a design similar to that used on the 4T to provide optimal front wheel grip
– Optimized the design of the fork legs and yokes, in order to provide more flexibility and comfort but more torsional rigidity for traction
– Rear frame reinforced
– Footrest support reinforced
– FMF original exhaust system on the 250 2T to improve power in low speed and more high RPM
– Framework changed to include more robust mounting bracket bolts
– Rear subframe reinforced
– The foot rests have been reinforced with Chrome Molybdenum steel
– Swing arm needle bearing area has been reinforced
