Chilly’s Blog – Getting Caught Up
I just want to put some quick status updates out. I have been gone so long and spent so much time working on Rally stuff that I have gotten behind on a number of things. So here is where we are:
2015 Beta 430RR Test – lots of interesting things to talk about and learn on this bike. It has taken some time to get the best parts of the bike to shine, not for any particular reason, sometimes that is just the way testing goes. I am back out to ride it again today alongside the 450xcw. I have stripped all the race gear off the KTM and put it back to stock, so we should have some good comparison.
Trophy Girl – I have a knock out for this month, but give me another day to get her pics edited and posted.
Baja Rally – Every electronic device I have is blowing up from interested people. Give me a day or so to get the second part written. It is tough, some of it I don’t relish writing, but it is what it is and not telling the story would be a disservice to you.
Here is one quick gem for you. Seat Time’s Brian Pierce blew up his 525 on day 2 of the Baja Rally. For day 4 he pulled out his dad’s Suzuki SP200, mounted all the gear on and rode the entire final day. It was perhaps the most challenging day of the rally too! What a great never-say-die story. Now those are the kinds of stories I love to tell.
Graham Jarvis Schools – yes, I am working to settling dates and locations, (last week of the year in So Cal), final details should be out shortly.
