Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Jacob Argubright captured 2nd overall at the penultimate round of the National Hare and Hound series on Saturday in Panaca, Nevada.
The 105-mile race in the southern Nevada desert served as Argubright’s second race in the series since his return from wrist injury last October.
Off the start, Argubright swiftly moved into 3rd at the end of the bomb before making the pass for 2nd, where he would spend the rest of his day looking to take the lead. As the race went on, the heavy still dust lingered, making it difficult to make up time on the leader.
Coming into the main pit 37-seconds behind first, Argubright kept his pace while holding off the freight train of competition coming from behind for the remaining 55-miles of twisting tree trails and long sand washes.
When the checkers flew, Argubright successfully finished 2nd overall aboard his Husqvarna FC 450. “My bike was really solid today, and I can’t thank my team enough for their hard work. It is really a team effort out here.”
“Although there is nothing sweeter than a win, I am happy with my results today. It’s good to be back in the swing of things,” Argubright stated after the race.
The National Hare and Hound series heads south to Johnson Valley, California for the finale October 24th.

Round eight of the Kenda AMA National Enduro Series took place this weekend in Moorestown, Michigan. The race consisted of 7 tests with the longest of them being 9 miles. The weather was great all day until about 2:00pm, after test 5. At that time the skies opened and unloaded a large amount of rain changing things up a bit.
This race was the first one where both factory riders, Josh Strang and Andrew DeLong, felt close to 100% after being injured. It was great to see them back with confidence and excitement to race. “I felt like myself today at the National Enduro it was a big relief and felt like a win!” stated Josh Strang.
Both Josh Strang and Andrew DeLong started the day off great. Strang won the first test and DeLong finished 3rd. Going into the 2nd test, which was a short 3.5 mile A only test, both riders were feeling confident. At the finish of test both riders tied for 2nd and were sitting top 3 overall. Strang kept that momentum going forward throughout the day overcoming adversity to put together a solid 2nd place. He ended the day 2nd by winning 2 tests and having four other Top 3 finishes. Excited by his finish, Strang said that his Husqvarna FC 350 “worked awesome and I’m happy with the changes we have made. The team worked awesome having to get my bike ready after a small problem so it was a good day.”
