New Lower Price! – We have lowered the price of the PR5R for 2016 to an MSRP of $6199.
Michelin S12 XC Rear Tire – By popular demand, we have switched out the Michelin FIM rear enduro tire previously used for the much better performing and more popular Michelin S12 XC on the rear of this bike. The front tire will continue to be the Michelin FIM enduro tire as used before.
New Fuel Tank & Cap – A new fuel tank design with an improved threaded flange plus a larger and now plastic gas cap are being used. This design makes it less likely for dirt or debris to fall into the tank when removing the cap since the cap is almost the same size as the opening in the seat, plus it is threaded into a flange on the tank that is smaller and raised above the main tank area.
New Fuel Pump – Now a high pressure unit, fitted into the redesigned tank. Uses less mounting screws (4), is smaller, with a higher pressure for better flow to the injector.
New Fuel Injector – A new finer mist injector is being used on all 2016 PR5’s. This injector slightly improves throttle response and feel, by atomizing the fuel more effectively.
Reikon Clutch – A very high-quality Billet Aluminum Reikon clutch perch assembly will be fitted to every PR5R from the factory. The perch and lever are both anodized, the lever has a larger pivot with bearing, and the perch is able to rotate on the bars on a nylon sleeve in the event of a crash. It also has a quick adjust feature to adjust cable slack while riding.
New Decals – A new, more modern look for our graphics this year – check out the picture!
Kickstand Auto-retract deleted – We eliminated this feature by substituting a normal pivot bolt in place of the older one that had a pin in the head of it. This change will make the kickstand stay in the down position even with no weight on it, plus it will retract
